Cities Forum: Partnering for Growth, hosted by Key Cities (external event)

  • University of Staffordshire College Road Stoke-on-Trent, England, ST4 2DE United Kingdom (map)

DWB co-founder Leanne Tritton will be speaking at the inaugural Cities Forum, an event designed to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors in addressing the most pressing challenges faced by cities across the UK.

Leanne will speak about our work at Don’t Waste Buildings as part of a panel on net zero and energy.

The event is organised by Key Cities, a diverse, national network of 24 cities that represents urban living in the UK. Their aim is to connect on shared interests, redefine the role of local government, and enhance standards of living for communities.

This year’s Cities Forum has the theme of ‘Partnering for Growth’, and the programme will explore critical topics such as housing, health, public finance, social care, and net zero goals, all under the influence of this government.

The event will bring together council leaders, officers, and consultants from the private sector, including those working across investment and development. Emphasising the vital role of the private sector in delivering Labour’s growth agenda, specifically the goal of building 300,000 homes annually, the Cities Forum presents an opportunity to focus on and drive public-private partnerships for sustainable growth.

The event will be hosted by Stoke-on-Trent City Council, a member of the Key Cities network, on the campus of the University of Staffordshire.

The event will run from 10:00-16:00 on Tuesday 29 April 2025, and Leanne’s panel session will take place at 11.50am.

The event is free to attend and you can book your place HERE.
